The Boettcher Family


I texted Kenna asking if she wanted to reschedule. The dark, heavy clouds were quickly filling the skies out of nowhere. Just like Texas does.


“No way. Let’s just go for it!!!!”


So we headed out to the Boettcher Farm, just outside of town, for an outdoor family session. We started at the pond house, a place filled with years of memories. Kids fishing for perch and bass, jumping off the dock, canoe rides at sunset. Andrew and Kenna spent time here dating, and now continue to come here with Pierce to hang out, scout for waterfowl, and farm rice.


Photographed with a relaxed, candid approach, this session was all about capturing their personalities & connection at this stage of their life in a place meaningful to them. With Pierce about to turn two, Andrew and Kenna wanted to celebrate him.
